Return/Exchange Policy

At The Vapor Island all sales are final. We do not offer refunds on any of our products whether they have been used or not. However some items are covered under our Exchange warranty policies and may qualify for an exchange. Please test and inspect all products for defects or DOA (dead on arrival) upon receiving your order. We do not except returns, if an item is non defective and functional. Download our battery care instructions HERE

DOA (dead on arrival) Warranty

  • In Store: Return  DOA Items within 72 hours of receiving it to the store. Must have Proof of Purchase, its original packaging and all components.
  • Online: Report  DOA within 72 hours of receiving the items to our support staff at: orders. orders.vaporisland@gmail.com. Include pictures or video with explanation. Our staff will contact you via email with troubleshooting, and or with a return authorization number. If the item is authorized for return, you will be responsible for shipping cost. Once we have received it and found it to be DOA. We will ship you the new exchanged item.

Cartridges, Coils, Cartomizers, Atomizer and E-liquids are excluded unless there is a manufacture recalled.

14 day Manufacture Defect – Warranty Policy

  • In Store: Return Items with Manufacture defects to our store within 14-days. Must have Proof of Purchas and it original packaging an all components.
  • Online: Our Products unless specifically stated otherwise carry an implied, 14 – day warranty from the date the Item was received against manufacture defects. A defective item refers to an item that is defective out of the box, due to manufacture negligence. An item is not considered defective, if the defect or issue is caused by user neglect or error. Warranty coverage for manufacture defects expires 14 days from the date you received it and will only be processed and exchanged if the merchandise is within the warranty period. Report manufacture defects to our support staff at:  orders.vaporisland@gmail.com.  Include pictures or videos with an explanation. Our staff will contact you via email with trouble shooting ideas, and or with a return authorization number.  If the item is authorized for return, you will be responsible for the shipping costs. Once we have received it and found the item to be a manufacture defect. We will ship you the new exchanged item.

Some examples of user neglect or user error.

  • Items that are not covered under any warranty and are final sales are as follows:
  • Cartridges, Coils, Cartomizers, Atomizers, E-Liquid and Clearance Items.
  • Any Use of the product that does not fall into the designed use of the product as intended by the manufacture.
  •  Dropped Devices
  • Devices that have been Crushed
  • Damage from e-liquid leaking into the unit
  • Water exposurer
  • Damage to product due to user negligence.
  • Scratches, and discoloration are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered by warranty.

 Exchange/Return Requirements:

Due to  Manufacturer requirements we must comply with their terms. Defective and DOA Items must have the following in order to be accepted:

  • Reported to us within 72 hours for DOA and within 14-days for manufacture defects.
  • Must  have a return authorization number from us:
  • The Item must be postmarked for return by the 20th day of receiving it.
  •  Returned the Item in its original packaging with all components.
  • Must show proof of purchase or receipt.
  • Include pictures or videos demonstrating the defect. ( orders.vaporisland@gmail.com)
  • A typed or written explanation of problem accompanying the defective product.

Shipping:

You will be responsible for the shipping charges to us. Shipping Charges are non- refundable.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

If an item returned is deemed to be in working condition and not defective you will be responsible for the return shipping cost of the item returned to you.
